I’m in my 40s and my parents at their 70s still do that to me. Gosh I should have taken or sent them to trips to Europe like what their friends’ children have. It feels so bad that all I have done for my parents such as visiting them on weekends and raising their grandchildren well are taken as nothing while these are all I can do in my life.

I adore your videos. Growing up in a highly aggressive family, and then entering an awful and violent relationship, I have always been around anger. Unfortunately now I am also an angry person/ parent when tested. These videos are so calming and informative in a simple way- like a friendly reminder to stay on the right path ❤

I have a 25yr old son who i let move back rent free to get his life back on track with a few rules, of which one was broken and in front of my landlord who then was on my case, while having the disagreement with my son about this he became super disrespectful and threatening toward me at which time i told him to leave, its been 2days and hes gone, i know he has nowhere else to go and ive been really worried and feel guilty which i shouldn't!!!! Why do i? Anyway, its all i can think about, how can i move on and focus on my life and process this?

Atleast you ppl are able to stay with ur husbands …. My situation is much worst . My In laws don t allow me to stay me n my child with his farther/ my husband…… its been 5 years now n i have stayed no longer than 15 months in total…. And always creating misunderstandings n chaos between me n my husband ….

Im highly against this idea. Why apologize when you have proven to be the victor of the argument, and thereby, the "right" one? If anything the other side should be apologizing. And if they arent that just proves theyre unable to admit defeat and that they think emotionally and not logically, and who wants to have to deal with someone like that? They're not worth your time or effort. Stick to your principles until you are proven wrong.

What do you think about the idea that children are only the reflection of their surroundings, and that in order to make the child feel better, the work needs to be done more with caregivers and very little with the child?

Wow. Even though I don't relate to this anymore, it still gets to me. I used to be the shy girl who tried so hard to be friends with everyone, even bringing jokes or snacks to lunch to make them like me. My worst years were from 3rd to 6th grade. Thankfully, I found a great group of friends at the start of 7th grade and we're still close in college. I've met even more people since then. But this experience made it hard for me to trust others. Sometimes I'm scared to start conversations. My social skills have improved though, and I'm happy about that.

This is a great video. I'm a dad of a 6 and 4 year old girls. My wife works evenings so the bedtime routine with these 2 is an absolute nightmare. My 4 year old just pushes me to breaking point every day. I just feel like a rubbish dad. There's some useful info in this video but it would be great to have some more examples of choices to give my kids when i need them to get ready for bed. I feel they wouldn't do either choice that i give them.
